A football fan’s ‘heart stopped’ when he came home to find his pup Leo had chewed up his promotion play-off tickets. Lifelong Coventry City fan Jim Lennon had bought two tickets for the Championship play-off semi-final match against Middlesborough and had planned to take his grandson Jacob, 14. But his eight-month-old cocker spaniel Leo had other ideas and tore the tickets to shreds after they were posted through Jim’s letterbox.
