5 Perc Angol TV - Episode 44
Folytatva az előző epizód témáját, ma ismét a boltok és üzletek elnevezésével fogunk foglalkozni, és ezzel kapcsolatban egy apró, de mégis nagyon fontos nyelvtani szabályt is meg fogunk tanulni. Vágjunk is bele!
What can I get you?
MEGNÉZEM AZ EPIZÓDOT: ITT
It’s 8 o’clock in the morning, and Jessica is going to do the shopping. She is at the baker’s now to buy some fresh, warm bread for breakfast.
Jessica: Good morning.
Baker: Good morning, madam. What can I get you?
Jessica: I would like a sliced loaf.
Baker: White, brown, rye or wholemeal?
Jessica: White, please.
Baker: How much?
Jessica: Half a kilo.
Baker: Anything else, madam?
Jessica: Yes, I need some cheese topped rolls.
Baker: How many of them?
Jessica: Four. Do you sell buns?
Baker: Yes, what kind of buns would you like?
Jessica: I’d like four raisin buns and give me two croissants as well, please.
Baker: Here you go, madam. Do you need something else?
Jessica: No, thank you. How much is it?
Baker: £ 4.10
To prepare the dinner, Mary has to buy some meat too, so she is at the butcher’s now.
Butcher: Good morning, madam! What can I get for you?
Jessica: I’d like half a kilo of minced meat, please.
Butcher: What kind of meat do you prefer? Beef, pork, lamb?
Butcher: Would you like the regular or extra lean? The extra lean is a bit more expensive.
Jessica: I’ll take the regular. Could you also get me four thick pork chops and two chicken breasts?
Butcher: I’m sorry, but we’re out of chicken breasts right now. I can give you some thighs, instead.
Jessica: No, thanks. I’ll just take 300 grams of cooked ham. Slice it thinly, please. I’ll also need two steaks.
Butcher: We have T-bone, rib eye, and sirloin steaks. The rib eye is probably the most tender of them all.
Jessica: … then I’ll take two of those.
Butcher: Okay, anything else?
Jessica: No, I think that’s all for now.
