Stranger Things has been the one thing that followed me all the way through from primary school to high school, and now to graduating.

I think what really made me connect with the show was the way that the core four carried such a deep sense of childlike wonder and hope, all throughout growing up and maturing while at death’s door with a soul-sucking freak after them.

Established in 1929, the Vatican is the spiritual and administrative center of the Roman Catholic Church. Right now, I am inside St. Peter’s Basilica. And it is just insane, so beautiful. The dome is so freaking big.

It’s the world’s smallest sovereign state by both size and population. Just 1/8th as big as Central Park and home to just 900 citizens. These are the enclosed walls to the country. The Vatican is known for having some of the world’s most famous churches. Painting and sculptures, such as in St. Peter’s Basilica and Michelangelo’s work in the Sistine Chapel.

It’s also where the Pope himself lives and gives speeches often to the public. So it appears as if the Pope is gonna give a speech soon from his balcony right there. The Vatican really does function as an independent country.

They issue their own Euro coin, their own passports, license plates, and they even have their own post office, flag, telephone system, and radio station. The museums of the Vatican receive over 6 million tourists a year. There’s like 50 tours at once.

It’s been a fun day here in the Vatican, definitely worth spending an afternoon or a half day. Just warning, the lines get really long and it’s really claustrophobic in those museums, so Amanda and I kind of went fast.

I also have an allergy attack happening right now, and the best part actually of this whole day has been sitting here in the main square. Just people watching and looking at these stunning buildings. So all in all, the Vatican’s a great place, very cool to visit, add it to your list, and I will see you later from Rome.

I have no time for women that don't support other women. It's the ultimate compliment when a woman tells you that you look great. I've always loved fashion. Always. I have made so many fashion mistakes, but I actually don't look at them as mistakes. I celebrate those things and laugh occasionally, but I'm not ashamed of any of that. I mean, at some point, I thought it was okay to wear a PVC catsuit. When I was pregnant with Romeo, I walked around Disneyland in Christian Louboutin heels, literally at about nine months pregnant.

When Estee Lauder approached me, um, it was a dream come true because I've wanted to work on a makeup collection for so many years, and I've collected makeup for so many years, and when I had the first meeting, which was at my house in LA, I had an entire dining room table full of makeup.

I'd probably say Morning Aura. Which is the one piece of skincare that's actually in the, uh, in the collection, it's a moisturizer, it hydrates. After I cleanse, tone and moisturize, I put on the Morning Aura, then I apply my foundation, and then I'll take the Morning Aura again and I'll put it on my cheekbones, down the center of my nose, maybe a little bit on my eyes. I also use it on my collarbone, on my legs and arms.

Day-to-day, I think that what works for me is normally a smoky eye and a nude lip. I'd say that that is probably the look that most people would associate with, with me. Applying makeup does make women feel more confident, it can certainly change how you feel.

Hi Vogue. I’m Victoria and this is what is in my bag.

Firstly, always my phone. Always got to have my phone with me because you never know whether it’s David that’s going to be needing me or one of the kids. So always, always the phone, never leave the house without a phone. The most recent picture that actually is my screen saver is this picture of me and David that my best friend took when we were at the premiere of the Netflix documentary because it’s an action shot of me and David dancing. It’s really cute.

I carry this camera everywhere with me because the quality of these pictures is really, really great. So this is what I use to create all of my personal social content, so pictures of my family, of my friends. You know, if I’m out with my girlfriends having a night out, I will always whip out my camera. I don’t know, I just, I love the pictures much more than where I take pictures on my phone.

I have my highlighter for touch-ups in the car for that lovely, gorgeous glow. My fragrance. It’s quite signature and I love this smell, especially for this time of the year when I feel that the weather’s changing. You know, and I’m wearing a more autumnal wardrobe, if you like.

The other thing that I like to carry in my bag is my crystal. I believe a lot in crystal energy, you know, when I moved to LA, I enjoyed learning and educating myself about crystals. I used to go to the crystal farm, I learned how to meditate, about self-acceptance, about wellness. But yeah, I love this crystal. I have lots of crystals in my house, in my office. You know, the kids like to carry crystals. David has been known to carry crystals as well. So as a family, we love the energy that radiates from the crystals.

I have, of course, my sunglasses. Never leave the house without my sunglasses. This is very special to me.

So this is a silver credit card holder that my husband bought me 27 years ago. And it’s engraved on the inside. I’m not going to tell you what it says, but I keep my credit cards in here and this is very special to me. So I don’t leave the house without it.

I also have my number two lip liner, which I’m completely obsessed with, I use this lip liner every single day.

Oh, the other thing I’ve got in my bag, I’m a little bit old school. I can’t get on with AirPods. I like the old school ones that you plug into the phone and then plug into your ears. So I go everywhere with my old school earphones. I’m listening to some podcasts. I like to listen to music as well, but I like to change it up. I love 90s R&B and soul music.

I love spending time in Paris. You know, I’ve just celebrated my one-year anniversary showing in Paris. And for me, it was always a dream, the ultimate dream to show my collections there. I often say that it’s mine and David’s happy place. We often go there, just the two of us for romantic weekends. I love the architecture, I love the energy, I love the people and obviously the wine is the absolute best.

Astronauts on the International Space Station give up many pleasures to take those giant leaps in the name of science. They leave behind fresh vegetables, relaxing hot showers, warm sunshine, gently misting rain, and much more. One of the things astronauts say they miss most is a good cup of coffee. How would you like to start your morning sucking freeze-dried coffee through a straw from a sealed plastic bag?

Good news for astronauts. Morning Joe recently got an upgrade. On April 20th, SpaceX delivered to the Space Station a new microgravity coffee machine named ISSpresso. Our aerospace engineers have designed a coffee maker that can function in microgravity conditions, says David Avino of the Italian engineering firm Argotec.

Working together with the coffee company Lavazza and the Italian Space Agency, we have brought authentic Italian espresso onto the International Space Station. No one wants to drink Italian espresso from a plastic bag, however.

What astronauts need is a Zero-G coffee cup. Fortunately, six of these wonders have been delivered to the Space Station as well. Fluid physicist Mark Weislogel of Portland State University and IRPI LLC, who helped invent the cups, explains why they are necessary.

If you try to use a regular coffee mug, you might not get the coffee to your face, says Weislogel. It would be trapped at the bottom of the mug. In low gravity environments like the Space Station, fluids tend to get sticky. Surface tension and capillary effects, which are overwhelmed by gravity on Earth, rule the day in space.

As a result, coffee tends to cling to the walls of the cup. You could dip your tongue in the cup and lick the hot coffee out, or you could throw it out of the cup and suck down the scalding blob that forms in the air. No thanks. The Zero-G coffee cup solves these problems by going with the flow, putting the strange behavior of fluid in microgravity to work.

Basically, explains Weislogel, the liquid piles up right at the lip of the cup and keeps flowing as you sip. It pours out by the combined effects of your mouth, the wetting conditions of the fluid, surface tension, and the particular shape of the cup.

This oddball cup wouldn't work on Earth, but it is a marvel in space. Weislogel and colleagues learned how to make the coffee cup by conducting capillary flow experiments on board the station.

For years, they've been studying how fluids on the station climb the walls of their containers, turn corners, and perform other maneuvers that defy earthly intuition. It's not all about the coffee, he says. We need to understand how fluids behave in any container.

The operation of many critical space station systems – air conditioning, refrigerators, toilets, cryogenic fuel tanks, medical treatments, the water supply, and everything else that involves liquids – depends on the ebb and flow of fluids.

These systems must work without gravity if they're to be used on the International Space Station or on a spaceship en route to Mars, he adds. Compared to those other systems, coffee is not in the critical path of operation, says Weislogel.

Try telling that to the astronauts about 5:30 tomorrow morning.

The Birth of Mr Bean

Mr Bean was created by Rowan Atkinson, a British actor and comedian, together with writer Richard Curtis.
