Friday I’m in Love – dalszöveges kvíz https://www.5percangol.hu/kozepfok_hallas_utani_ertes/friday-im-in-love-cure-kviz/ Fri, 28 Feb 2025 10:00:50 +0000 https://cmsteszt.5percangol.hu/friday-im-in-love-a-cure-for-today/ A híres sláger, a Friday I’m in love (The Cure) dalszövegével játszunk! Meg tudod mondani, hogy melyik nap mit csinál Robert Smith a dalban?

THE CURE: FRIDAY I’M IN LOVE

I don’t care if Monday’s blue
Tuesday’s gray and Wednesday too
Thursday I don’t care about you
It’s Friday, I’m in love

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Oh, Thursday doesn’t even start
It’s Friday I’m in love

Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate

I don’t care if Mondays black
Tuesday, Wednesday – heart attack
Thursday, never looking back
It’s Friday, I’m in love

Monday, you can hold your head
Tuesday, Wednesday stay in bed
Or Thursday – watch the walls instead
It’s Friday, I’m in love

Saturday, wait
And Sunday always comes too late
But Friday, never hesitate…

Dressed up to the eyes
It’s a wonderful surprise
To see your shoes and your spirits rise
Throwing out your frown
And just smiling at the sound
And as sleek as a sheik
Spinning round and round
Always take a big bite
It’s such a gorgeous sight
To see you eat in the middle of the night
You can never get enough
Enough of this stuff
It’s Friday, I’m in love

I don’t care if Monday’s blue
Tuesday’s gray and Wednesday too
Thursday I don’t care about you
It’s Friday, I’m in love

Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Thursday doesn’t even start
It’s Friday I’m in love

ANGOL NYELVTAN: Anybody, somebody, nobody, anything, something, nothing https://www.5percangol.hu/nyelvtan_tananyagok/angol-nyelvtan-anybody-somebody-nobody-anything-somehing-nothing/ Sat, 04 Jan 2025 15:00:17 +0000 https://cmsteszt.5percangol.hu/anybody-somebody-nobody-anything-somehing-nothing/ ANYBODY,SOMEBODY,NOBODY/ANYTHING, SOMETHING, NOTHING

somebody– valaki
something – valami
nobody – senki
nothing – semmi

I saw somebody there.– Láttam valakit ott.
I didn’t see anybody there. – Nem láttam senkit ott.
Did you see anybody there? – Láttál valakit ott?
Would you like something else? – Szeretnél valami mást?

A helyett a mondat helyett, hogy ‘I didn’t see anybody there’, mondhatjuk azt is, hogy ‘I saw nobody there.’, egy dologra kell csak nagyon ügyelni: duplán nem lehet tagadni, tehát azt nem mondhatod, hogy ‘I didn’t see nobody there.’ (Na, jó, azért dalszövegekben elég gyakran előfordul 🙂

Az ANYBODY, SOMEBODY, NOBODY szavaknak van szinonimája is: az ANYONE, SOMEONE, NO-ONE. Ezeknek a szavaknak a jelentése ugyanaz.

Még egy utolsó dolgot jegyezz meg, mielőtt megnézzük a példákat. Az ANY szót nem csak tagadó és kérdő mondatokban lehet használni, hanem kijelentőkben is, ekkor a jelentése bármi/bárki. Például:

You can take any book. – Elviheted bármelyik könyvet.
Anybody can do it. It’s very easy. – Bárki meg tudja csinálni. Nagyon könny?.

És végül nézzünk meg néhány példamondatot:

Somebody told me you work here.– Valaki mondta, hogy itt dolgozol.
Nobody loves me. – Senki nem szeret engem.
Was there anybody in the house? – Volt valaki a házban?
I want something to drink. – Szeretnék inni valamit.
We don’t need anything. – Nincs szükségünk semmire.
I need nothing. – Nincs szükségem semmire.
Would you like something to eat? – Szeretnél enni valamit?
Is there anything in your bag? – Van valami a táskádban?

13th December – St Lucy’s Day – Luca napja https://www.5percangol.hu/kozepfoku-olvasmanyok/st-lucys-day-luca-napja/ Wed, 13 Dec 2023 06:56:12 +0000 https://cmsteszt.5percangol.hu/st-lucys-day-luca-napja/

St. Lucy’s day

The 13th of December celebrates the virgin St Lucia of Syracuse, who was martyred for her Christian faith in 304. Due to her purity she is associated with light, and her feast day is on the 13th of December because in the old calendar this used to be the longest night of the year.

St. Lucy is a very popular saint in the Scandinavian countries, where people feel the lack of sunlight more intensely, and on this day every town and village in Sweden chooses its own Lucia, who is driven around town, preferably in a horse-drawn vehicle, to spread light and song in food stores, factories, old-age homes and medical centres. St Lucia wears a white gown and ‘light in her hair’, which in practice means a crown of electric candles in a wreath on her head. Each year, a national Lucia is proclaimed, with candidates presented in the newspapers a couple of weeks in advance. This is also the day of the Nobel awards closing ceremony and the laureates are greeted by St. Lucy.

In Hungary, Luca-day is remembered as the day when witches are abroad (probably because this used to be the longest night of the year), so people had to protect themselves from evil. They ate garlic and even smeared some on their animals to keep evil spirits away, drew crosses on gates and spread some ash to stop them from entering homes. Brooms were also locked away so witches couldn’t go for a ride. Many superstitions are connected to this day: girls tried to foretell the future by cooking 12 dumplings, hiding a note with male name in each, and the first one to come up to the surface of the boiling water held the name of their future husband. The most well-known superstition is that of the Luca stool, which has to be carved starting today and finished by Christmas. The person who stood on the Luca stool during the midnight Mass was able to recognize the witches in the community.

10 érdekesség a sörről https://www.5percangol.hu/egyeb_video/10-erdekesseg-a-soerrl/ Sun, 15 Jul 2018 10:17:41 +0000 https://cmsteszt.5percangol.hu/10-erdekesseg-a-soerrl/ When it comes to beer, most people know it’s brewed, it’s great on a hot day, and that there’s a lot of it out there. Among the things many may not know is how much history it has or how versatile it can be. Here are 10 little known facts about beer.

Number 10. There’s one that’s made with meteorites. The people at Dogfish Head Brewery in Delaware have a brew infused with crushed lunar meteorites. To get their hands on the stuff, they partnered with ILC Dover, a company that makes space suits and has an in with NASA.

Number 9. It’s good for your hair. To get the conditioning and cleansing benefits, the beer must be applied directly to the tresses, so going out and throwing back a few won’t help with split ends

Number 8. Beer can be made from facial hair. A brewer in Oregon used yeast he harvested from his own beard to whip up a batch.

Number 7. Ancient Egyptians were paid with it. At least the ones working on the pyramids, anyway. Evidence has been found suggesting they were compensated with loaves of bread and a serving of beer.

Number 6. Beer and marijuana are related. Hops, used to flavour beer, and cannabis hail from the same plant family. The answer to your question, by the way, is yes. People have attempted to make beer from pot.

Number 5. In Prague, it’s cheaper than water. There, a bottle of water can cost more than double what a pint of beer does.

Number 4. Beer is good for you. It’s one of the few consumables that contains bone-benefitting silicon. A beer a day can also keep kidney stones away.

Number 3. 51 million cases of beer are sold on Super Bowl Sunday. Well, people have to wash down the billion chicken wings eaten on that weekend with something.

Number 2. There was a beer with a 55% alcohol content. It was called ‘The End of History’ and holds the Guinness record as the world’s strongest. It’s sold out now, but ran about 800 dollars a bottle. 11 hundred if you wanted it packaged with a taxidermied squirrel. Normal beer is about 4 and a half percent.

Number 1. They make home brew at the White House. President Obama got the ball rolling a while ago when he bought a kit.

“The spirit of our age is Democracy. All for the people and all by the people. Nothing about the people, without the people. That is Democracy.”

Lajos Kossuth (USA, Ohio, February 16, 1852)

Lajos Kossuth (1802-94)

A lawyer and journalist with radical political views, he was constantly in trouble with the authorities and was imprisoned from 1837 to 1840 for publishing attacks on the government. Inspired by the French Revolution of 1848, he demanded an independent government for Hungary. Kossuth’s aim was to build a modern democratic, liberal state with a constitution, which provided equality to all citizens.

When the first independent Hungarian government was formed by Lajos Batthyány, Kossuth was appointed Minister of Finance, and after Batthyány’s resignation he became provisional governor of the country. In April 1849, the Hungarian parliament declared Hungary an independent republic and Kossuth became President. As the Austrian and Russian army advanced, however, not being competent enough for extensive warfare, he handed the power over to General Görgey.

When the Hungarian army admitted defeat in August 1849, Kossuth fled to Turkey, where he was made a prisoner until 1851, but was not handed over to the Austrian authorities. During his English and American campaign to gain support for Hungarian independence his speeches – though often three hours long – attracted crowds. He left the USA in 1852 to live four more decades in exile, finally settling in Turin, Italy. Although he didn’t manage to get help, he made a strong impression on Americans and the bust of the Father of Hungarian Democracy was placed in the US Capitol on March 15, 1990.

These cute bubble hotels have sprung up in three locations in France, allowing visitors to feel as though they are sleeping under the stars, with all the comfort of being indoors. The bubble rooms are located only a short walk from a village, so that you don’t feel too secluded, and also come with a nearby building housing a jacuzzi and star gazing map amongst other things. Dreamy.

Palacio de Sal, Bolivia

This translates as a palace of salt, obviously. It’s located on the world’s largest salt flat, near the crest of the Andes at an altitude of nearly 3650 metres. The original building was constructed in 1993, although it was replaced by a newer one in 2007 – fully equipped with a rule that you are strictly not allowed to lick the walls. Oh.

Magic Mountain, Chile

How amazing is this hotel? It’s served by a rope bridge, has its own waterfall and is in the middle of a nature reserve – anyone else think it looks like it’s come straight out of a Disney film? There are 12 rooms, and prices start at just £125. We’re sold.

Kagga Kamma Nature Reserve, South Africa

A real-life Flintstones themed hotel, the Kagga Namma is a luxury hotel built in the middle of a nature reserve. There are totally outdoor rooms – think comfy beds, walls carved out of stone, oh and no ceiling. Plus activities that include safaris and quad biking.

Poseidon Undersea Resort, Fiji

Located on a secret island in Fiji, this hotel is straight out of a Little Mermaid – although with less mermaids. Some of the resort is above ground, and the rest submerged like a giant see-through submarine. Pretty cool, no?

Hobbit Hotel, New Zealand

Lord of The Rings fans, listen up. This real-life Hobbit hotel features a themed menu and visits to Middle Earth film locations. You’ll get to see 20 of the filming spots in just one day: how’s that for dedicated fan? You can also get married there, which would probably be the best themed wedding, ever.

 Let It Go

The snow glows white on the mountain tonight,
not a footprint to be seen.
A kingdom of isolation and it looks like I’m the queen.

1. ………………..
Couldn’t keep it in, Heaven knows I tried.
Don’t let them in, don’t let them see.
Be the good girl you always have to be.
Conceal, don’t feel, don’t let them know.

2. ………………..

Let it go, let it go!
Can’t hold it back any more.
Let it go, let it go!
Turn away and slam the door.
3. ………………..
Let the storm rage on.
The cold never bothered me anyway.

 It’s funny how some distance,
4. ………………..
And the fears that once controlled me, can’t get to me at all
It’s time to see what I can do,
5. ………………..
No right, no wrong, no rules for me.
I’m free!

Let it go, let it go.
6. ………………..
Let it go, let it go.
You’ll never see me cry.
Here I’ll stand, and here I’ll stay.
Let the storm rage on.

My power flurries through the air into the ground.
My soul is spiralling in frozen fractals all around
7. ………………..
I’m never going back; the past is in the past!

Let it go, let it go.
And I’ll rise like the break of dawn.
Let it go, let it go
8. ………………..
Here I stand, in the light of day.

Let the storm rage on!
The cold never bothered me anyway…

Hogyan is viselkedjünk, ha netán nekünk ítélnék az Oscart? https://www.5percangol.hu/egyeb_video/hogyan-is-viselkedjuenk-ha-netan-nekuenk-itelnek-az-oscart-d/ Sun, 28 Feb 2016 14:46:25 +0000 https://cmsteszt.5percangol.hu/hogyan-is-viselkedjuenk-ha-netan-nekuenk-itelnek-az-oscart-d/ How To Accept An Oscar

To win an Oscar is everyone’s secret dream. So if you ever do get the chance to win an Academy Award, allow us to help you perfect your acceptance speech for when you receive your Oscar.

Paint your face, put on your glad rags, and borrow a million dollars’ worth of diamonds. Oscar’s here! And you can learn a lot about the do’s and don’ts of speech making just by looking at him: he’s short, he’s shiny and he has no naughty bits. VideoJug has sifted through 79 years of Oscar history to bring you the dos and don’ts of Oscar etiquette so that when you have to make an impromptu speech, you’ll look like a star.

Step 1: And the winner is….

The first thing to get right is your reaction to the result.
“And the winner for Best Supporting Actor Oscar goes to…”
It is critical that if you lose you don’t do what Samuel L Jackson did at the 1994 Oscars.
Whatever your studio executives have told you, expect to lose, and when you win your delight will be beamed across the world … it’ll be the first really honest performance of your career.

Step 2: Small ones are more juicy

In the 1940s, Greer Garson managed a speech that seemed to go on for about three days. Now there is a long standing rule at the Academy Awards that no speech should be longer than 45 seconds. So none of this:
“I would really like to thank my ancestors, because if it wasn’t for my ancestors they wouldn’t have given birth to my great-great grandparents, who wouldn’t have given birth to my grandparents”
Be clear and structured, so the audience know where they are. This doesn’t mean you can’t tell a joke, but do it fast enough to ensure the whole world has not switched off and gone to bed by the time you get to the punchline.
“I wanted to thank them because without them, I would not be stood in front of y’all today, so I want to say thanks and God Bless America – this is for you Cleetus!”

Step 3: Fight the power

The political speech is a fine art. If you really want to get people talking about your speech then you can’t do better than bringing up on stage a small indigenous character in traditional garb, whose home is under threat from a war, chemical spill or multinational plastic toy manufacturer.
“This is Takawana. His entire village has just been bought by Disney- this is an outrage!”
Remember to only accept your Oscar on behalf of his entire tribe, and finish with a clenched fist that suggests solidarity with all other troubled tribes everywhere. This is well worth doing for the massive DVD market that will open up for your subsequent films.

Step 4: Crying a river

When Gwyneth Paltrow dissolved into floods of tears for her best actress win for Shakespeare in Love, she tapped into something that had been irritating Oscar lovers for years: the excess of emotion.
“You know what. When I was little- all we had to eat was wild turkey, and when there was no more wild turkey, we ate squirrel! And when there was no more squirrel, we ate dust! We just had to put our faces in the dust and suck and lick it up! Oh god!
You’re a professional! Keep those emotions in check! Dry your eyes, get it together and smile for the cameras, sweetheart, you’re ruining your own big moment.

Step 5: Make your clothes work for you

Although lots of people win Oscars each year, only one actor really “wins” – and that’s the one that gets written about most afterwards. One of the best ways to make sure you get more column inches than anyone else is to wear something truly astonishing like Bjork did in 2001 when she turned up as a swan. Be super super glamorous, and if you are going to go to all this trouble, make sure your clothes stay on.

Step 6: Make ’em laugh

When the English Patient won nine Oscars in 1997, director Anthony Minghella remarked that “this is a great day for the Isle of Wight.”
A single good joke can stay in the audience’s minds far more than a parade of poor ones. So if you think you might win something, work hard on a good gag. And if you can’t think of one, ask your funniest friend.
