Bright Side compiled a list of regulations that even the Queen herself can’t get around.

1. They must keep a minimum of 6 ravens at the Tower of London.

“If the ravens leave the Tower, the kingdom will fall…” Legend has it that there should be at least six ravens residing at the fortress to keep the Tower and the kingdom from falling. To this day, they take very good care of the birds and see that they keep them well above the minimum number.

2. They cannot be touched by non-royals.

This one acts rather as a general guideline and is often broken. Commoners don’t get too close to royals anyway, but sometimes when celebrities meet them they stop to pose for the camera and contact can indeed happen.

3. They cannot vote.

The reason the royal family can’t have a say in these kinds of matters is because their vote could easily influence public opinion in an unfair way. Instead, they get in front of scandals and focus on cooperating with the ruling party and keeping political matters running smoothly.

4. They cannot hold a political office.

This is to ensure that no one of royal background is given the slightest bit of power to sway public opinion or use it to gain personal advantage from that position.

5. They cannot play Monopoly.

This was hinted at by Prince Andrew, Duke of York, while he was making a public appearance several years ago and was presented with the property trading game. He admitted they were not allowed to play it at home as it could get a little too vicious at times.

6. They cannot eat shellfish.

This is more of a precaution rather than an actual rule. Some royals, including the Queen, choose not to eat shellfish and some other types of seafood whatsoever to avoid allergic reactions or food poisoning. Others, like Prince Charles, will gladly slurp an oyster.

7. They must keep the order of precedence for seating arrangements and processionals.

There are very strict rules concerning the order of precedence at processions. If there is a wedding, the royal family must enter according to the order of their ranks with the Queen (or the reigning monarch) in the forefront.

8. They cannot be Roman Catholic.

Although this law was changed in 2011 and released the royal family from the regulation preventing them from marrying a person of Roman Catholic faith, they themselves must still remain loyal to the Church of England.

9. Their clothing cannot send ambiguous messages.

Royals are expected to lead the way in fashion with their sophisticated and elegant style. Therefore, their clothing choices must not send ambiguous messages. Their outfits are usually modest yet fashionable.

10. They cannot wear fur.

It was declared by Edward III way back in the 12th century that no one, including the royal family, could wear fur. In any case, this rule seems to have been forgotten as some royals, and even the Queen, have been caught sporting their furs.

11. They must accept gifts graciously.

Of whatever nature the gifts may be, all the members of the royal family must accept them graciously. Since all the gifts belong to the Crown, the Queen gets to decide who will keep which gift.

12. They cannot travel together.

It was a general rule for direct heirs not to travel long distances together, which made perfect sense back when traveling involved many risks. Now that it is much safer and comfortable, it is common for royals to travel together wherever they go.

13. They must spend Christmas together.

Traditionally, the members of the royal family spend Christmas with each other every year. Catherine, however, broke this habit when she decided to spend Christmas with her family instead. This allegedly wasn’t to the Queen’s liking.

14. They cannot eat after the Queen has finished eating.

Anyone dining together with the Queen, including the members of the royal family, must keep this simple rule: one must always follow Her Majesty’s every move and do what she does. So if she stops eating, everyone else at the table must also stop.

Little did she know that the Angels hitmaker was actually at her Gosport home with her friends and family, making a film for her instead.

Even when she was taken to Number 6 Cinema at the Historic Dockyards in Portsmouth that evening to supposedly watch La La Land, and instead saw footage appear of the sometime Take That singer in her house, the penny still didn’t drop.

So, when Robbie appeared in front of the big screen with her nine-year-old daughter, Grace Bingham, singing a duet of his latest single Love My Life, she was left totally stunned.

The 42-year-old said: ‘I was in such shock, I couldn’t really take it all in. It was an amazing feeling.’

Danielle says she has seen the singer about 80 times in concert, often with her friends Kerry Sterling and Tracie Hughes. She met her partner, Mike Bingham when he was security at Milton Keynes Bowl for one of his shows in 2006.

Mike had been in on the surprise and had to keep it secret for a fortnight beforehand.

She added: ‘You could say that without Robbie, I wouldn’t have met my soul-mate and had our lovely daughter. Then to see her sing on stage with Robbie Williams is just out of this world and brought a tear to my eye! It was a beautiful moment and I’ll never forget it.’

After the duet, Danielle spent some time chatting with the star, who invited her to his show at St Mary’s in Southampton this summer, and to come to this year’s Brit Awards on February 22, when Robbie is to receive the Brits Icon Award.

Robbie added: ‘It was brilliant to surprise Danielle and spend time with her friends and family. Singing with Grace and seeing Danielle’s reaction was priceless.’

Robbie’s surprise was part of Mastercard’s Priceless Surprise campaign in celebration of the Brit Awards 2017 with Mastercard. Production company Craft London carried out an extensive online search for fans of Robbie – they came across Danielle following a comment she made on a post on a fan Facebook page.

“I will never let go completely one day your hands will be strong enough to hold me. I might not be there for all your battles, but you’ll win them eventually. I’ll pray that I’m giving you all that matters, Gracie, you gonna sing it with me? Let’s do it. I love my life.”

Grace going on that stage was amazing it’s absolutely out of this world, and I will cherish it forever.

To see my daughter there on stage with a global superstar, my whole body just started to tingle.

Number 6. Stave off narcissistic tendencies. A recent study showed that among the myriad ‘interpersonal dysfunctions’ that make up the narcissism personality disorder, a number of them are less likely to be exhibited by women. They include entitlement and a deep desire for power.

Number 5. Theoretically, get to Mars. In 2014, NASA Mars study participant Kate Greene suggested the agency appoint an all-female crew for the mission to the Red Planet. She reasoned that women require less food and expend fewer calories, making them the more efficient choice.

Number 4.Invest. Based on findings by Barclays Wealth and Ledbury Research, women tend to pull higher profits in the long run, as they are less likely to engage in potentially hazardous financial behaviors – for example, trading too frequently or pursuing risky endeavors.

Number 3. Multitask. Exhibiting better organization skills while tackling multiple and mounting requests is the primarytrait that earned women the ‘best multitaskers’ distinction. According to the authors of the 2013 study, the female participants also worked at a faster pace.

Number 2. Deal with pain. Mythbusters tested the long-held belief that women have a higher tolerance for pain than men by having members of both sexes submerge their hands in icy water. Women were able to endure the agony for a longer amount of time.

Number 1. Score higher on IQ tests. A review of tests taken since they were first introduced over 100 years ago showed women’s scores have been rising faster than men’s. In fact, they’ve done so at a pace significant enough to land women in the lead.
