Despite the Budapest Mayor’s request, Taylor Swift will not visit Hungary.  Budapest is not on the list of the American singer’s recently announced gigs. Despite the mayor’s request, Taylor Swift will not be visiting the Hungarian capital anytime soon.

On Wednesday, Taylor Swift revealed that she would be expanding her European tour with 14 new locations. Throughout the Eras Tour, she will play 54 times across Europe, but not in Budapest. The singer had previously received a letter from the mayor of Budapest, Gergely Karácsony, inviting her to visit the nation’s capital.

Hungary’s Swift fans would now have to go at least as far as Vienna to catch the internationally renowned singer now that she will be avoiding Budapest. The bad news is that Swift won’t perform in Austria until August 2024, which means fans will have to wait more than a year for that as well.
