Egy békés nyugdíjasotthon négy lakója minden csütörtökön összeül, hogy megoldatlan gyilkosságokról beszélgessenek, ám egy nap tényleg kegyetlen gyilkosság történik a közelükben… 

A Csütörtöki nyomozóklub augusztus 28-án érkezik! A film Richard Osman bestsellerének adaptációja, Chris Columbus rendezésében. A főszerepben: Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan, Sir Ben Kingsley és Celia Imrie. 

The Thursday Murder Club

Based on Richard Osman’s international bestselling novel of the same name, The Thursday Murder Club follows four irrepressible retirees – Elizabeth (Helen Mirren) a former spy, Ron (Pierce Brosnan) a retired union leader, Ibrahim (Ben Kingsley) a psychiatrist and Joyce (Celia Imrie) a nurse – who spend their time solving cold case murders for fun.

What begins as a quirky hobby quickly turns serious when a local developer is found dead under suspicious circumstances. Suddenly, the Thursday Murder Club finds itself in the middle of a very real and very dangerous case.

As the group digs deeper, secrets unravel – both from the present and the past. With their unique skills, sharp wit, and a surprising amount of bravery, the retirees outmanoeuvre the police, outwit suspects, and uncover a tangled web of motives. But the closer they get to the truth, the more they realize that someone doesn’t want this case solved – and that their own lives may be at risk.

Directed by Chris Columbus, the film is the latest to be produced through the Netflix and Amblin Entertainment partnership.
