Woman: Hello. That’s right.
Teacher: Have you taken any courses or exams so far?
Woman: I have an intermediate level exam from Hungary but now I want to do an international advanced level exam.
Teacher: We do exam preparation for Cambridge English exams, so our placement tests are based on those tests. Are you familiar with the format?
Woman: I’ve heard about it but I haven’t tried it yet.
Teacher: You don’t have to take a whole exam now, because it’s very long. You will get a reading comprehension, a use of English task and a writing task.
Woman: Can I use a dictionary?
Teacher: At the exam only monolingual dictionaries are allowed. If you don’t have one, there are some on the shelf over there.
Woman: Thank you.
Teacher: We will also do an oral mock exam.
Woman: Excuse me, what is a “mock” exam?
Teacher: It means it’s not real, it’s a pretend exam.
Woman: Ok, I got it.
Teacher: We will talk about pictures and different topics and a colleague of mine will take notes.
Woman: All right. I’m ready to start.
