Stanley Tucci tökéletes Negroni koktélja

A videó megnézése után rakd sorrendbe a receptet a videóban látott elkészítésnek megfelelően.

Tucci’s Negroni recipe:

1. shake it up
2. drop a fair amount of ice in a shaker
3. pour a single shot of Campari
4. garnish it with a slice of orange, a pre-sliced orange and put a little bit of the juice in
5. pour double shot of gin into the shaker or if you don’t like gin, you can use double shot of vodka and maybe you could just lace it with gin on the top just to give that a little bit of flavor if you like
6. pour a shot of sweet Vermouth (NOT Martini!)
7. put it in a coupe glass or you can put it in a martini glass or whatever you want
8. you can also just do it on ice/on the rocks with the same proportions

TWIST – UP – NEAT – STRAIGHT UP

1.: as applied to drinks served in bars – refers to a shot of liquor poured directly from the bottle and into a glass. There is no chilling involved with a “_____” drink. There is never an additional ingredient in a drink served “______”. You cannot have a Screwdriver served “____”. If you walk into a bar and order a Dry Martini, “______”, you might be served a tepid shot of Martini and Rossi Dry Vermouth in a room-temperature glass.

2.: implies that there was some preparation involved, and that there is no ice in the final product. You can have a Manhattan on the rocks, or I can give it to you “____”. There was ice in the shaker but not in the glass or in the final product.

3.: originates from: “I can handle the truth. Give it to me ________.“ Let’s say you order a Wild Turkey, “______”. Your bartender should assume you mean that you want your bourbon “neat”, and serve it as so.

4.: A “_____” is always a thin strip of citrus peel, without pith and without the meat of the fruit. It derives its name from the fact that the peel is “_____” over the surface of the drink to express the oils. Note that the default generic “______” is made from lemon peel, a light spritzing of lemon or lime oils on the surface of the drink.

Screwdriver cocktail: Decades ago, American oil workers in the Persian Gulf discreetly added vodka to their orange juice while on the job. Lacking a spoon, the workers decided to stir the drink with a screwdriver.
